Research for Sand Casting

I really love the 1950's sci-fi styles, the elements of domes and chrome. The rockets and "modern" designs that they found so enticing, really inspired me for this project.









The incredible silver shininess of the pewter helped make my connection to the sci-fi themed chrome. I would like to incorporated the smooth rounded edges and the spacey motifs in each piece I cast.
